First time I heard vegetarians rant about their veggie diet, I dismissed their lousy adventure. “Real men eat meat” I thought and life went on. Meat has been a big deal in my life; it is nutrient packed food that has served me well over the years where I easily eat >3 KG per week. To this day, I still believe that men should it meat.
Recently, I started to wonder about cutting down the amount of meat I eat however. If you search for the pros and cons of eating meat, you will not arrive to a clear answer except for a lot of biased bull crap. There is a story to tell about both sides of the supporters.
What happens if you stop eating meat for a month
Hence, if I want to know what happens if you stop eating meat for a month? then I have to give it a try myself. At the moment I have no idea what will happen if I stop eating for a month.
Currently I feel fit, strong and in good shape. But I have no idea what will happen when I eat less/no meat.
So this weekend, after a visit to the Pampas Rodizio in Antwerp, where I ate fantastic barbecue until no more could fit, I have decided to put this phenomenon of eating less meat to the test for a whole month.
For the entire month of May 2017, I will do my very best to avoid eating meat.
By the end of the month, I will be in a position to provide you an answer to the question what happens if you stop eating meat for a month.
